Gov. Jay Inslee announced on Thursday, April 2, 2020 that he is extending his ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ order for one more month.

Inslee’s original rule – which was made Mar. 23 – was intended to last two weeks, and this extension pushes the expiration date to May 4.

The extension does not add any additional restrictions to residents.

“The steps we have taken are working,” Inslee said. “But we have yet to see the full toll of this virus. We will not sacrifice the lives of Washingtonians by ending these measures too soon.”
