Normally, Father’s Day in Burien means the final day of the annual Strawberry Festival, which includes the popular Father’s Day Car Show downtown.
But sadly, this year – due to the COVID-19 pandemic – the fest was cancelled, so organizers at Discover Burien turned it into a Father’s Day Car Show Cruise!
115 classic cars participated, starting at 10 a.m. near North Hill, then up through Normandy Park, Three Tree Point, Gregory Heights, Seahurst, Downtown Burien, North Burien, Boulevard Park, then back to the start.
Below is edited video from footage we streamed live on our Facebook page of the cruise, as the cars turned from SW 172nd Street onto Maplewild Ave SW in Three Tree Point (running time 10:22):
